At Milton & Goose, our pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans in the United States. When you welcome a Milton & Goose piece into your home, you’re investing in quality, beauty, and a lifetime of inspired play.

While each item is thoughtfully designed to be cherished for years to come, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned.

If you're not entirely delighted with your purchase, we're here to make it right.

Damaged or Defective Pieces

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of craftsmanship and care. If your piece arrives with damage or a defect, please submit a claim through our customer portal with a description of the issue and accompanying photos or video.

Our team will promptly assess the situation and provide a suitable solution, whether that’s a replacement, a repair, or another personalized resolution - always at no cost to you.

Exchanges

If another item or color from our collection has captured your interest, our team would be happy to explore the possibility of an exchange. Please submit your exchange request through our customer portal and we’ll review your request and share next steps based on availability.

Returns

We accept returns within 45 days of delivery.

If you utilized our Checkout+ feature at original time of checkout, your return shipping label is included and you will receive a prepaid label through our customer portal.

If you decided against Checkout+, no worries! You can still return or exchange your items through our customer portal but you are responsible for the cost of your shipping label. Labels should be purchased through our portal. 

Eligibility

To ensure the safe return of your piece, please confirm the following:

  • The item is unused, undamaged, and in original condition

  • It is returned in its original packaging

  • It was purchased directly from Milton & Goose

Refunds

Once received, your item will be reviewed by our quality assurance team within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–7 additional business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Note: Oversized package fees, expedited shipping charges, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada are non-refundable.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Made-to-order pieces and select custom items are final sale and not eligible for return. These items are clearly noted on their product pages..

Exceptions: Third-Party Items with Special Return Policies

While most Milton & Goose pieces are covered under our standard return policy, a few items, crafted by our trusted partners, follow separate return guidelines. These include our storage baskets, wallpaper, and other select drop-shipped items, which are clearly marked on their respective product page.

For Storage Baskets:

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery

  • Items must be new, unopened, and in original condition

  • If the return is due to an error on the part of our partner (such as receiving an incorrect or defective item), return shipping is covered.

  • If the return is not due to their error, return shipping costs may apply.

For Wallpaper:

All wallpaper is made to order and therefore not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. We strongly encourage ordering a sample before purchasing to ensure the color, pattern, and scale align with your vision and space.

By placing an order without first reviewing a sample, customers acknowledge and accept that:

  • Variations in color, pattern, or scale from online listings may occur.

  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges due to installation concerns.

  • Adhesion results may vary depending on wall texture, paint, and prep
